Why are blocks signed with a node's private key, instead of an account's private key?

@iltoga and @fox99 explain us why

With all blockchains, security should be the number one priority. In an effort to minimize the attack surface of our p2p node network, we've partitioned off the node private keys and the account private keys. This means if an attacker gains access to a node, they cannot steal any funds from the node or anyone else's node. The network is set up to identify the attack and will soon blacklist the compromised node. In this video, Stefano and Ali (Core Developers) explore the security benefits we gain from implementing this model.
