Why do nodes need to register themselves on ZooBC blockchain network before finding blocks?@bzpython @iltoga @fox99 answer this question
We've noticed a worrisome trend where node operators outsource their infrastructure to cloud providers such as Infura or Amazon Web Services. This is extremely risky as it exposes private keys online and erodes the decentralization of nodes. In an effort to keep our blockchain secure and to distribute mining rewards as fairly as possible, we've developed a process for nodes to register on the ZooBC before finding blocks. In this video, Barton, Stephano, and Ali dive into our design decisions.
